Michele Belanger
Head Coach

Michele Belanger, now in her 33'rd season as Varsity Blues Head Coach, is a veteran of national and international competition as both a player and coach.  Belanger has coached for Canada at all levels of international competition.  She was the Head Coach of the Junior National Team for several years  and the 1997 Student Games Team that won five of six games at the FISU Games in Sicily. 

Fluent in French and English, Belanger was an interpreter at the 1976 Montreal Olympics.  In the summer of 1986, she gave a series of coaching clinics in Africa at the invitation of the Department of External Affairs.

She was OUA Coach of the Year in

'80-'81,'81-'82,'93-'94,'96-'97,'99-'00,'07-'08 and '10-'11.

Christine Cho

Assistant Coach

After 5 years as a Varsity Blues player, a team Captain and OUA East first team All Star, Christine has joined the Blues coaching staff. After graduating, Cho played in Europe and is now studying in her third year of Naturopathic Medicine at CCNM in Toronto.
