       THE FUTURE OF THE PROGRAM

   The quality of the UofT's basketball program requires the                   recruiting of a pool of very talented student-athletes. It takes    outstanding coaches, capable staff and many devoted alumni and friends whose contributions sustain our rich tradition of success.

In this time of fiscal restraint, funds for intercollegiate sports are limited and consequently, many teams must fund-raise on their own to have the necessary support to enable them to be competitive both provincially and nationally.

      INVESTING IN CHAMPIONS

•   The financial support is required in order to provide:

  - scholarships for student-athletes

   -out-of-province competitions

   -meal money for players while travelling

   -year round fitness/training programs and equipment

   -technical support

      ACCEPTING THE CHALLENGE

This program allows alumni, friends and supporters of the Varsity Blues to invest in the opportunities available to our athletes. A donor can be confident that 100% of their gift will go to the enhancement of the womens basketball team program. Donors will receive a tax receipt for the full amount of their donation.

Your support ensures that our team can continue to work towards its goal of Conference, Provincial and National Championships. Our athletes strive to reach the greatest heights both on the court and in the classroom. We are committed to providing each student-athlete with the best experience possible.
